Three more patients recovered and were released from treatment facilities of the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases on Friday morning, bringing the country’ total recoveries to 305.
All of the three are Vietnamese, previously returning home on flight VN0062 from Moscow, Russia, which landed at Vân Đồn International Airport in Quảng Ninh Province on May 14. They were all admitted to the hospital on May 18.
Patient 293, male, 30, lives in Tân Hương Commune, Tân Kỳ District, Nghệ An Province. He had been tested twice and both came back negative for SARS-CoV-2, after nearly two weeks of treatment.
At present, the patient has no fever, no cough, no shortness of breath and is in a stable condition.
Patient 302, male, 25, lives in Vinh Quang Commune, Vĩnh Bảo District, Hải Phòng City. He was tested twice and all tests were negative for SARS-CoV-2.
At present, the patient is in a stable condition.
Patient 320, male, 29, lives in Thịnh Long Town, Hải Hậu District, Nam Định Province. He also had two tests and all results were negative for SARS-CoV-2.
The patient currently has no fever and is in a stable condition.
All three patients will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next 14 days.
As of Friday morning, Vietnam reported no new COVID-19 community transmission cases over the past 50 days. The total COVID-19 confirmed cases stand at 328 and no fatalities have been reported.
