The Vietnam’s Ministry of Health reported late Saturday afternoon four new cases of the new coronavirus, bringing the total number of people in the country who have been infected with the virus to 53.
The four new patients are showing mild coronavirus symptoms. All four were tested and their results were released Saturday, the Ministry said.

Case 50th is a Hanoi man, 50, who lives in Nui Truc Street, Ba Dinh District, he was in Paris and returned to Hanoi on March 09.
Case 51st is a Vietnamese student studying abroad, she travelled to many European countries from Feb 13 to Mar 13 before returning to Hanoi over flight number QR968.
Case 52nd, a Vietnamese woman, 22, who returned to Vietnam from London on March 09. She traveled to Ha Long Bay by taxi and in self quarantine at home before showing coronavirus symptoms.
Case 53rd is a Czech citizen, man, 53 year-old. When he was in Czech, he contacted with Italian people. He traveled to Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh city on March 10 on flight number QR970, transited at Doha, Qatar and stayed in a Hotel in District 1.
According to VNExpress, As of 17:00 Saturday, March 14, Vietnam confirmed 6 new cases.
Case 49th is a 71-year-old British man who flew from London to Hanoi on March 2’s flight VN0054, is the husband of the 30th patient, who has been quarantined for treatment at Hue Central Hospital.
Case 48th, 31-year-old male patient, who lived in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 10, worked with the 34th patient on March 3 and rode in the same car as the 45th patient from Binh Thuan Province to HCM City on March 4.
Vietnam’s foreign ministry announced on Saturday the country would halt entries for tourists from countries in the Schengen area or the UK from March 15, amid the coronavirus outbreak and soaring death tolls in Europe, sparking concern they might be the next epicentre.
