Four more COVID-19 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital on Monday, bringing the country total number of patients given the all-clear to 95.
The recovered patients in full are:
Patient number 122, is a female, 24, Vietnamese, from Ha Tinh Province. She was admitted to the Đà Nẵng General Hospital on March 22. During treatment, she was tested three times and all results came back negative for SARS-CoV-2 on March 30, April 1 and 3.
Vietnam goes second morning with NO new Covid-19 case to report
Patient number 154 is a female, 23, Vietnamese, from Hạ Long City in Quảndg Ninh Province. She was admitted to the Cần Thơ Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases Hospital on March 24. During treatment, she was tested three times and all results came back negative for SARS-CoV-2 on March 31, April 1 and 3. She currently is in stable condition, with no fever, no coughing, and no breathing difficulties, and is eating normally.
Patient number 117 is a male, 30, Vietnamese, from Long An Province. He was admitted to the Tây Ninh General Hospital on March 22. During treatment, he was tested twice and both results came back negative for SARS-CoV-2 on March 30 and 31.
Patient number 118 is female, 23, Vietnamese, from An Giang Province. She was admitted to the Tây Ninh General Hospital on March 22. During treatment, she was tested twice and both results came back negative for SARS-CoV-2 on March 30 and 31.
The patients will continue to be isolated and monitored for the next 14 days.
Vietnam has not recorded any new coronavirus infections Monday morning and in the past 24 hours, only one more case has been added.
The national tally, as such, is kept at 241 since the evening of Sunday, according to the Ministry of Health.
Monday morning marks the second morning in a row that the nation has had no new cases of Covid-19, after several were reported every morning for almost a month.
On Sunday evening, a 20-year-old Vietnamese student returning from the U.K. took the country’s total count to 241.
Of the 241 Covid-19 patients in Vietnam, 95 have been discharged.
