Four more passengers returning to Vietnam from foreign countries has tested positive for COVID-19.
It brings the total number of cases recorded nationwide to 318, of whom 260 have recovered.
Case 135th is a Vietnamese man, 39 years old, who returned home from Cambodia and illegally entered the trail at 3:30 pm on May 2, to visit his aunt’s house in Tan Chau district of Tay Ninh province.
As many as 17 people identified to have had close contact with the patient were taken to quarantine areas at Tan Châu District Health Centre and Tay Ninh Province General Hospital.
Case 136th, male, 19 years old, resides in Danang city. On 14/5, he returned to Vietnam from Philippines at Can Tho International Airport and being put on isolation right after landing.
Case 317th, male, 29 years old, resides in Khanh Hoa province. On 13/5, he returned to Vietnam from Russia on flight VN0062, after landing at Van Don Airport, he was sent to an isolation campus in Thai Binh province.
Case 318th, female patient, 44 years old, resides in Thanh Hoa province. On 13/5, she returned to Vietnam from Russia on flight VN0062, same flight with Case 317th, after landing at Van Don Airport, she was sent to an isolation campus in Thai Binh province.

There have been no new community transmissions for the past 30 days. The Health and Life newspaper reported.
Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said at a government meeting Friday that all forces in the nation have to continue making efforts to curb the spread of Covid-19, be ready to act if it is detected in the community and remain focused on preventing all transmission sources from abroad.
For now, Vietnam will continue to close its doors to commercial flights and foreign tourists, he said.
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected 213 countries and territories, with more than 308,100 deaths reported.
