The Health Ministry confirmed 31 more Covid-19 cases in Hanoi (04), Bac Giang province, Hai Duong Province (17), Quang Ninh Province (05), Binh Duong Province (01) and Gia Lai Province (02), raising the infection tally of Vietnam’s new community transmission wave to 270. The country also recorded one more imported case.
On the same day, the health ministry announced that three more cases have been recovered
As of today, Hanoi has reported 19 COVID-19 community cases since the outbreak returned last Thursday. The city authorities have ordered to close all bars, discos and karaoke venues as of February 1, according to the Health & Life Newspaper, a news outlet run by Health Ministry.

All restaurants are required to disinfect their space regularly, arrange seats to ensure social distancing and ask all staff to wear masks.
Move than 2 million students in Hanoi take Tet holiday early as local residents and parents had expressed their worries following the detection of nine Covid-19 community transmission cases in the capital city.
The move followed the municipal People’s Committee’s decision amid the complicated developments of the pandemic following the recent increase of community transmissions.

Residents have to limit gathering in crowds when it is not necessary. Those organizing events must strictly ensure preventive measures. The city authorities have also emphasized that people should limit organizing festive activities, according to a report by Vietnam News.
Worldwide, the pandemic has killed more than 2.23 million after infection over 103.5 million.
