The Binh Thuan Charity Golf Tournament is co-organized by The Journalists Association of Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Nam Entrepreneurs Association in the South and Binh Thuan Province Golf Association.
The goal of the Golf Tournament is to raise funds for charity from agencies, businesses and sponsors throughout the country to build gratitude houses and help disadvantaged families in Binh Thuan province and other localities to celebrate the Lunar New Year. Besides, this is a chance for golfers to meet, connect and share opportunities for cooperation, thereby building a community of training sport exercises, improving health and raising awareness of social responsibility.
The press conference of the tournament had the special participation of 2 players of National Women’s Football Team: Ms. Huynh Nhu – Team Leader and Ms. Doan Thi Kim Chi – Assistant Trainer. The organizers also informed about the special gift of the Prime Minister: 2 shirts of the National Women’s Football Team at Seagame 30 with the signatures of the Training Committee and the female players. The Prime Minister presented these shirts to The Journalists Association of Ho Chi Minh City for auction in The Charity Golf Tournament in Binh Thuan Province 2019. The money collected after the auction will be used as a gift for National Women’s Football Team before the New Year.

The Binh Thuan Charity Golf Tournament with nearly 200 golfers will be held on December 28, 2019 at Sea Links Golf & Country Club in Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, Binh Thuan. The tournament which is calculated as a match according to Handicap officially divided into 04 tables as follows:
- Championship
- Group A: Handicap from 00 – 12 (First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize)
- Group B: Handicap from 13 – 20 (First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize)
- Group C: Handicap from 21 – 28 (First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize)
- Group Callaway Board: Handicap from 28 and above (First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize)
- And technical prizes: Nearest To The Pin, Nearest To The Line, Longest Drive.
