Thanh Xuan is its 20th center in Vietnam and located at Imperial Plaza, 360 Giai Phong Street in Thanh Xuan district.
“With a strong foundation as the leading wholesaler for the past 17 years, we can leverage our strength in quality fresh food products and extend our supermarkets,” said Mr. Bruno Jousselin, Managing Director of MM Mega Market Vietnam. “We understand that food safety is one of the top concerns of consumers and we want to bring this strength to serve the fresh and safe food demand of customers.”
MM Mega Market Vietnam began its wholesale operations locally in 2002 and has now developed to 20 wholesale stores around the country. After transferring from the Metro Group to the Thai Charoen Corporation Group (TCC), it has been making strong and continuing investments in developing commercial infrastructure as well as food safety in Vietnam.
The company has provided training to over 20,000 Vietnamese farmers and fishing families to increase productivity and product safety to achieve better access to modern trade practices and upgrade capacity in the long term.
As well as its 20 stores, MM also has five platforms in 14 cities and provinces with nearly 4,000 employees (full time and part-time), of which over 99 per cent are Vietnamese. The company has trained and developed more than 15,000 high-quality personnel for the modern trade sector. It recruits up to 2,000 seasonal employees every year, to serve customers over the traditional lunar new year.
