If you are a foreigner living and working in Vietnam and are not familiar with the legal procedure of the host country, it may lead to significant difficulties in protecting your legal rights and interests.
A new helpline +84903189033 offering legal advice and counseling is now available for any foreign, regardless of their legal issues, starting today, the Global Business Services (GBS) said yesterday.
The GBS teamed up with its associated firms to offer help with common legal issues such as contracts, business formation, work permit, employees rights, business and civil litigation or criminal cases and more, in a bid to ensure the legal rights of foreign nationals living in Vietnam’s Ho Chi Minh city are respected.
When an appointment is made, the Contact Center will arrange a date for a three-way phone call between a foreign resident and a lawyer. Face to face legal counseling is also available on request.
“We expect this services to contribute to solving legal problems that foreigners face daily,” said a GBS spokesperson.
According to the GBS, there are currently more than ten lawyers offering legal help in fifteen associated offices around the country, with plans to hire a further more lawyers.
The GBS’s move to offer legal help to foreigners is the latest addition to the ‘Global Lawyer’ initiative, a service originally intended to help foreigners who are living, studying or working in Vietnam; foreign-invested enterprises; and other persons or entities who may potentially have interaction with the legal procedure in the present or in the future by offering them FIRST TIME FREE legal advice and counseling.
